The OhioLINK Library Catalog offers access to more than 38 million library items and allows students, faculty and staff at member institutions to borrow items from other OhioLINK libraries.

Materials described in the Catalog include books, journals and periodicals, audiovisual materials, sound recordings, electronic resources, government documents, archives and manuscripts, maps and music scores.

 

   
To visit the OhioLINK Library Catalog go to http://www.ohiolink.edu and follow the link to the OhioLINK Library Catalog. You may search the Catalog by author, title, subject and keyword.
   
Additional search options include call numbers and other numbers including ISBN number and government document number.
   
To request materials through the OhioLINK Library Catalog, locate an item you would like to borrow. For this example we will perform a keyword search on the phrase “copyright law”.  
   
 
   
Once you locate an item select “REQUEST THIS ITEM”.
   
Select your institution from the list of OhioLINK institutions.
   
Fill in your name and ID number, and select where you want to pick up the item. 

The system will validate the request and send the request to the lending library. The item will be delivered to the pickup location you requested.  

Contact your library for checkout information and loan policies. Keep in mind that only items that are not available at your own institution may be requested in this way.
