| To begin a subject search click the link that states to "All search options" from the main search menu. | |
| Click on "Medical Subject Headings". | |
| If you do not know the correct subject heading, use
the MeSH Browser or try a keyword search. Type the beginning of the subject phrase in the search box. The phrase may be as short or as long as you like, but it must be precise as to wording and spelling. You can truncate mid-phrase or mid-word if you are not sure what comes next, capitalization and punctuation are not required. |

| After you enter your subject click the "Search" button. | |
| In the third column of the table you will see a list
of subject headings, beginning with the subject phrase Organ
Transplantation. In the last column are the
number of references for each subject heading. Click the subject heading link to see the items listed for that specific subject. |

| The top part of the record display includes author
(or editor), title, and publication information. Notice that four (4) OhioLINK libraries have this item. Use this link to determine location and availability. The lower part of the record display contains other information including subject headings. |

| The buttons near the top of the screen allow you to
navigate to the previous or next record, return to the
list of records on the previous page, perform another
medical subject search and return to the main search

know a word or phrase that describes your subject, use
the National Library of Medicine's MeSH
Browser to explore available headings or use the KEYWORD
search. Keyword search: organ transplant* Once you have found an item relevant to your topic, just click on its subject heading to find other items on the same subject.
